Village of Govan
OUR TOWN
Govan is a small town consisting of 194 people (Canada 2016 Census).
We have a skating rink, curling rink, community centre, Town office, library, fitness centre, grocery store, playgrounds, and other great organizations and businesses.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated, and special shout out to the 110 voters who took the time to come out to the polls. Thank you to all of our candidates for putting your name forward, I’m sure we will see many of you in future elections. Special thanks to our election officials Colleen Mortenson and Jayda Wilker.
Stay tuned for news of the first organizational meeting of Council which will be held in the coming days where those elected will take oath and assume their seats. Until that is arranged, the former Council remains in office as per the Local Government Elections Act, 2015.
